Bo's Mahi

A single Mahi, Dorado or Dolphin (depending on where you are in the world).  Bright colors and intricate detail in this simple single fish print. Mixed media includes oil based ink, watercolor and pastels on japanese paper, mounted to canvas and sealed with protective varnishes.

Tres Mahi

Three Mahi Mahi swim and jump across the canvas in pursuit of their prey.  This piece is two layers of japanese paper.  One layer is dyed deep blue and turquoise to portray the deep blue water these fish migrate through.  The second layer contains three inked mahi, their details and color portrayed with watercolor, and pastel.

A school of perky spade fish playing in the depths.  This piece is several layers of Japanese paper.  One layer is dyed to with swirling turquoise, grey and white indicating light streaming into the watery depths.  Mixed media, ink, dye and watercolor.  Papers are mounted to canvas and sealed with several layers of protective varnish.
